Rebecca Mink is the founder and designer of MINK Shoes. A devout animals rights activist and steadfast advocate of the use of alternative materials in fashion design, Mink has maintained a lifelong interest in the preservation, protection and safeguarding of animals. It is this conviction that is the inspiration behind MINK Shoes.
Mink, a former model and wardrobe stylist, boasts a career that has intermingled design with important cause-related issues. Mink has designed for and styled some of the most famous names in the motion picture and music industries and her work has appeared at such important industry events as The Grammys, The Academy Awards, The American Music Awards and the MTV and VH1 music awards. Mink designs have also been featured on several major mainstream magazine covers.

Brian received the majority of his training with Redken, the leaders in the hair industry, recognized worldwide for instigating cutting edge hair techniques, styles and products, whilst balancing a proven and consistent track record of professionalism, knowledge, and design with a pioneering understanding of fashion and style. This led to him excelling at teaching and platform artistry at a national level.
Brian starred in the documentary “Peace, Love, And Bikinis” which won in its class at the New York Film Festival in 2005, co-hosted “Style Her Famous” on the Style Network, as well as being featured on “Good Day LA’s Style Report.” You can also see his work at The 2006 Grammy Style Lounge sponsored by In-Style. In addition, Brian is a Key Hair Designer at the Los Angeles Mercedes Benz Fashion Weeks, designing and creating styles for Ashley Paige, Heatherette, Sue Wong and Kara Saun, as well as Christie Martin, jewelry designer and Winner of Gen Art.
To date, Brian has styled numerous celebrities including Mariel Hemmingway, Chuck Lidel, Joe Perry from Aerosmith, Carmen Electra, David LaChappelle, Gavin DeGraw, Nick Lachey; D.J. Muggs from Cypress Hill, Backstreet Boys, Crazytown, Supermodel Jessica Miller, and actresses from the hit shows “Buffy The Vampire Slayer, “The Sopranos,” and “The O.C.”
In addition to his busy Beverly Hills studio, Brian is pursuing a degree from UCLA in Environmental Studies, with a minor in Political Science. The philosophy he is committed to is a movement toward more eco-conscious salon and hair care practices starting at the grassroots level.

She has had continuing education working at top hair salons like Warren Tricomi, Elizabeth Arden, and Park salon in Manhattan. She has studied under some of the greatest hairstylists in the industry, and is proud to say that her goal and dream is coming alive. She has successfully styled for LA Direct Magazine and Car Culture Deluxe Magazine. Growing up she new she was meant to travel the world, be in the fashion industry, and make people feel and look beautiful. S. Yiotis Panayiotou is undoubtedly one of the leading hair stylists working today in the worlds of Fashion, Art, Music, and Film. He was born in London and raised in Cyprus and Greece. At an early age, Yiotis showed interest in hair when he began learning the trade at his mother’s salon.
At the age of 17, he started to study with the legendary Vidal Sassoon Academy in London. It was there that he developed his craft and eventually became a creative director at the age of 19. While at Vidal Sassoon he worked on projects that enabled him to gain international work experience and it was during his time that his talent for hair coloring jump-started his career and eventually brought him to Hollywood in 2001.
Once in Los Angeles, Yiotis started working with various celebrities and Oscar nominees such as Val Kilmer, Helen Mirren, Kate Beckinsale, Toni Collette, Eva Mendez, Heidi Klum, Cindy Crawford, and Milla Jovovich.
In addition to his celebrity clientele Yiotis is also very well known for his amazing fashion sense. His work has appeared in fashion editorials for Vogue, Marie Claire, Flaunt, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair and Elle and in advertisements for Calvin Klein, Guess?, L’Oreal, Tommy Hilfiger, Saks 5th Avenue and Neiman Marcus.

In the fall of 2006, Kristen Shaw enrolled in the Aveda Institute of Chicago. Not long after, she received a job offer to move to New York City and assist Nick Arrojo. Leaving her home town for good, she became fascinated with the fast pace work ethic and the endless opportunities to create. Meeting new artists, friends, and sources of inspiration, Kristen took off on her own and started working for Suite 303 in the hip Chelsea Hotel. Here, she was learning under an eclectic mix of artists, and also had the opportunity to work on 36 episodes of TLC’s 10 Years Younger. Assisting master stylist Amy Barton, Kristen perfected her ability to make her client’s hair beautiful, edgy, and unique.
Ready for a taste of the west coast, Kristen relocated to Los Angeles in summer 2008. Since then she has had the opportunity to work with publications such as Interview, Missbehave, Vice, GQ, WWD and Teen Vogue. After graduating “Joe Blasco” Make-Up School, she assisted leading MUA, Klexius Kolby. Together they have worked on multiple projects including music videos for Janet Jackson’s “Son of a Gun,” Aerosmith’s “Jaded,” and make up for Ricky Martin, Madonna and more… at the Grammy Awards show.

Sole Alberti began training as a make-up artist at age five when her mother showed her how to use rose petals to tint her lips in Argentina. Alberti received her BA in Worlds Arts and Cultures from UCLA’s School of Arts and Architecture. She studied stage makeup and went onto research theater makeup in Verona, Italy where she explored facial structures and mask design for ‘Commedia del’Arte’ (silent comedy through expressionism). Upon conclusion of the course she was invited to teach a glamour makeup course at UCLA the following semester.
After completing a make-up seminar at Fred Segal in Los Angeles, Alberti began to practice professionally. Currently, Alberti studies cosmetology in order to receive her estheticians license and augment her expertise in beauty and skin-care. In addition to her studies, Alberti currently works on editorials, publicity campaigns, television shows, film, and music videos, and works closely with several celebrity clients.
